Warehouse and distribution facilities are often gr Warehouse and distribution facilities are often grouped into the same category, but each one requires a different design based on the products, equipment, and people moving through the building. Our early conversations around a new facility include a lot of questions. • What is being stored in the building? • How high will it be racked? • How quickly does product move from receiving to shipping? • Does specialized equipment need to be incorporated? • How many trucks need access to the building each day? • Who is working in the building, and what do they need from the space?
